The Rajasthan government is making all efforts on its part to provide financial support to the people in rural areas due to the income affected by the announced lockdown due to the corona virus. Under this, the Rajasthan government has now increased the wage rate under the MNREGA scheme.
Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has tweeted in this regard. He informed that under the MNREGA scheme, the wage rate has now been increased to Rs 220 per day. Earlier this rate was 199 rupees per day. At the same time, the wage rate for the mate and artisan is being increased from 213 to 235 rupees per day.
State Congress President Sachin Pilot said that due to coronavirus infection and summer season, the working hours have been changed from 6 am to 1 pm. He has also given instructions to get maximum personal benefit under the MNREGA scheme.
