Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed his concern towards Rajasthanis stranded in various parts of the country due to the lockdown. He said that the state government is trying to reach these people once to their village.

He tweeted and wrote that this subject has been discussed many times with the Central Government and now on Monday, a serious discussion has been held with the Union Home Minister over the phone. The diaspora of Rajasthan have a deep attachment to their home state and always keep coming in happiness and sorrow. That is why the state government, which is a migrant Rajasthani across the country, is also trying to allow them to visit their village once. 4,000 children who are coaching in Kota coming from different districts of Rajasthan will also be sent to their districts soon.

Through another tweet, he told that by talking to Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the phone, he has proposed that due to the lockdown, the migrants stuck in Rajasthan and Rajasthanis living in different states will be given a chance to go to their homes once. The Home Minister has spoken to the officials of the Ministry and assured them to take positive decisions.
