The cabinet has finally been formed after about a month of Shivraj Singh Chauhan taking oath as CM in Madhya Pradesh.
However, only five leaders were included in the cabinet. He has been shown the oath of office. Senior BJP leaders Narottam Mishra, Meena Singh and Kamal Patel, along with Jyotiraditya Scindia's close relatives Tulsi Silavat and Govind Singh Rajput have got a place in Shivraj Singh Chauhan government's cabinet.
Due to the small cabinet, many senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party could not find a place in the first phase cabinet.
In the first expansion of Shivraj's cabinet, veteran leaders like MLA Gopal Bhargava, Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Rajendra Shukla, Gourishankar Bisen, Vijay Shah and Rampal Singh could not find a place.
While Bisahulal Singh, Mahendra Singh Sisodia and Prabhuram Chaudhary, who joined BJP from Congress, have also been placed on the waiting list. A total of 35 MLAs can be accommodated in the cabinet.
