GURUGRAM: Four people tested positive for
Covid-19 in Gurugram on Tuesday, taking the district’s tally to 41 cases.
The four patients are admitted to the government hospital in Sector 10.
While two of them are residents of Sector 39 in
Jharsa, one is from
Sohna and another is from
Pataudi.
“We are conducting screening tests in the area and evaluating the status of the cases. We will collect samples from all the people who came in contact with these patients,” said chief medical officer JS Punia.
Most cases (14) in the district have been reported from Sohna. So far, Gurugram has collected 3,583 samples, out of which the results of 74 are awaited.
About 165 people are currently under surveillance at quarantine centres. Of the 41 cases, 26 patients have recovered and discharged while 15 are undergoing treatment in hospital.
