Anand Singh Bisht, the father of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, has passed away yesterday. He breathed his last on 20 April at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He was ill for a long time.

With the death of Anand Bisht, a great desire for his son also remained unfulfilled. He wanted his son to become the Prime Minister of the country. During a press conference, Anand Singh Bisht had said that Yogi would one day become the Prime Minister of the country. He also used to say that there is a lot of similarity between Narendra Modi and his way of working.

Once Yogi Adityanath's father was asked questions on the resource-sharing dispute in UP and Uttarakhand, he said that this was the best time to settle the dispute. Uttarakhand's son is the Chief Minister of UP and he will solve this problem.

His father Anand Singh Bisht was very happy with Yogi Adityanath's tenure. He also said that earlier power was used in UP to earn money.

It was a pity to not be able to attend the oath-taking ceremony

His father could not attend the swearing-in ceremony of Yogi. Which he was sorry for. He had told that he was supposed to catch a flight with his wife on the day of the ceremony, but the house was surrounded by guests, so he decided to stay at home.
