After a doctor residing in a high rise apartment in Sector 76 was found covid-19 positive, the residents of the society applauded him and the team that came to take the resident away for treatment. On Monday night, all the residents of Skytech Matrott apartments in Sector 76, Noida came on their balconies as the positive patient and team of medical staff, covered in Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) left the society.
"Many people tend to panic if someone from their locality is found positive for coronavirus. However, we decided to pay our respect to the doctor who was being taken for treatment as he himself is a frontline warrior in the fight against coronavirus. In addition to this, the applause was also for the team of medical staff who is working round the clock," said a resident.
