Deceased ACP’s ‘relative’ alleges bias

LUDHIANA: A man claiming to be a nephew of ACP Anil Kohli, who contracted Covid-19 in the line of duty and died on Saturday, has claimed that Ludhiana MC's staff has refused to collect waste from his house.
By protocol, in case a person has contact history with a Covid-19 patient, a special team collects garbage from a house. However, this could not be confirmed with the man or the MC.
On Monday, Rajan Puri, who claimed the deceased cop was his maternal uncle, wrote apost on Facebook in which he hit out at the MC. “The MC guy refused to collect and misbehaved with us. All because we are family of ACP Anil Kohli,” he wrote.
