Palghar mob leaching: Yogi Adityanath will not leave those who kill sadhus

The monks were killed on Sunday during mob leaching in Palghar. In this case, police have detained 101 people so far. Yogi Adityanath has been in a rage since this incident and has also spoken to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray about this. CM Yogi appealed that strict action should be taken against these people and Uddhav Thackeray also assured Yogi Adityanath that the culprits will not be spared.

CM Yogi - Urge for hard action

UP CM Yogi Adityanath wrote on his Twitter, 'Talk to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray last evening in connection with the killing of Swami Kalpavriksha Giri Ji, Swami Sushil Giri Ji, and his driver Nilesh Telgade Ji of Juna Arena in Palghar, Maharashtra. And requested for strict action against the responsible elements of the incident.

This is the whole case

On the night of 16–17 April, mob lynching occurred about 100 km from Palghar when they were in their homes due to the lockdown. Two sadhus and driver of a vehicle going from Mumbai to Surat were killed in Palghar's Gadchinchale village. These sadhus belonged to the Hanuman temple at Jogeshwari, Mumbai.

Both these sadhus were going to their Guru's funeral from Mumbai to Surat but were stopped by the police due to the lockdown. With this, the sadhus turned to the countryside where the mob fell victim to lynching.

Police say that both the monks fell victim to runoff due to runoff. The police reached the spot but could not do anything in front of the crowd of 200 people. The mob also started attacking the police.

After this, the police overturned the vehicles. So far 101 people have been detained in this case. During this time 2 policemen have also been suspended.
