Hazaribag: The Hazaribag Medical College and Hospital (HMCH) received four ventilators on Monday. While sharing the news, deputy commissioner B P Singh said that the total number of ventilators in the district has gone up to 14 with the latest additions. The other 10 ventilators are all in private hospitals.
Singh added that they were expecting to get eight more ventilators from the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd. The PSU had last week offered to donate eight ventilators to the district administration to help tackle the coronavirus threat.
