Two elderly women, admitted to hospital after suffering falls, contracted coronavirus and died.
Eileen Jean Owen, 94, of Cambrian Drive, Rhos-on-Sea died on April 13 after catching Covid-19 at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.
Margaret Byron, 86 died at the same hospital two days later from the virus.
Coroner for North Wales East and Central, John Gittins said Ms Owen was found on the street on March 22.
Investigations were made and it was established she was on warfarin - a blood thinner- and had a “traumatic” bleed on the brain, as well as a fractured pelvis.
The retired secretary was taken to hospital that day, where she later contracted Covid-19.
The cause of death was given by a doctor at the hospital as coronavirus due to traumatic subdural haemorrhage.
Ms Byron was admitted to the Bodelwyddan hospital on February 28 after falling and fracturing her leg.
The retired factory worker had been a resident at Sanford Care Home in Prestatyn.
She had undergone an operation and was recuperating in Glan Clwyd when she contracted Covid-19.
As a result of the nature of her admission to hospital, Mr Gittins deferred the matter to a full inquest.
