Fans rain down criticism on Deepika Padukone for collaborating with WHO's Dr Tedros for a mental health discussion amid coronavirus pandemic

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has done a lot to spread mental health awareness in India, having herself gone through the same. Once again, as she stays cooped up at home during the ongoing lockdown, she will be teaming up with Dr Tedros, the director-general of World Health Organization to discuss the importance of mental health amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, live on April 23rd. Her fans, however, are not happy with her decision. They took to social media to slam the actress for associating with the person, who, in a fan’s words, ‘helped the virus to spread globally and become a pandemic.’
