Police have launched an appeal to find two missing teenagers from the  Holyhead  area.

Joshua Sweetman 15 and Lucy Austin 16 were both reported missing from their Holyhead homes in the early hours of this morning (April 21).

North Wales Police  took to social media to urge the public to report any sightings of the pair.

Officers said they were concerned for the safety of Josh and Lucy.

Speaking to North Wales Live Josh’s mother, Anna Sweetman said: “Please Josh come home we are sick with worry, we just want you back.

“Josh is a very troubled teenager, so we have great concern for him.”

Anna described Josh as 5ft8. She said "he wears makeup and has long hair".

It is not at this time known where they were last seen or what they were each wearing.

NWP urged the public: “Any sightings, please call 101 and quote the reference 33747 for Joshua and 33746 for Lucy.”
