This beautiful yellow Ford Mustang Boss 302 will hit the auction block when bidding opens next month. And it should be a highly sought-after vehicle. Fully restored and awarded the MCA Grand National Concours Gold on September 2, 2018, this show-quality Boss pairs a matching-numbers V8 with a matching-numbers four-speed manual transmission. No word on how much it might go for, but don’t expect to snag it for cheap.

1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

The C4 Chevrolet Corvette didn't receive a ton of accolades when new. But these days, the tapered coupe garners attention from collectors for its unique style and performance – the ZR1 model most notably. With tuning help from Lotus, and a new 5.7-liter V8 under the hood, Chevy dubbed the then-new ZR1 "King of the Hill" with its debut at the 1989 Geneva Motor Show.

All told, Chevrolet produced just 3,049 examples of the Corvette ZR1 for the 1990 model year, making it a relatively rare find. This one, in particular, has just 13,600 original miles and includes options like air conditioning, power seats, and power windows and door locks. Barrett-Jackson doesn't provide an estimate, but the seller is offering it at no reserve.

1992 Dodge Viper Roadster Owned By John Elway

Arguably the crown jewel of Barrett-Jackson's first online auction is this 1992 Dodge Viper Roadster. Owned by former NFL star quarterback John Elway, who purchased it new in 1992, this Viper has just 8,000 original miles on the odometer. It's one of 285 examples built for the 1992 model year, and still wields its original 8.0-liter V10 good for 400 horsepower, paired to a six-speed manual transmission. The car spent most of its life in a showroom at Elway's dealership in Greeley, Colorado, but now it's heading to auction for the first time.

1995 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT

Obviously classic Mustangs get a lot of love. But don't forget the fantastic fourth-generation Ford Mustang that debuted in the early '90s – particularly this rare Cobra SVT spec. One of just 760 examples ordered with a black exterior and matching black leather in the vehicle's two-year production run, this example has a mere 108 original miles on the odometer. And of course, this Mustang still sports its original 5.0-liter V8 – good for 305 horsepower – and six-speed manual transmission. No word on how much it might go for, though.

2010 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak Race Car

One of a handful of modern muscle cars taking part in the auction, this 2010 Dodge Challenger is a rare Drag Pak factory race car. Powered by an 8.4-liter V10 Viper engine, this Challenger features a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, a single seat for the driver, factory lightweight wheels, and of course, drag slicks in the rear. It’s sanctioned for NHRA Stock, Super Stock, and Comp Eliminator drag racing events and cost $39,999 when new.

Watching vehicles roll across the auction block, listening to buyers one-up each other in the crowd, and the banging of the gavel with every sale are just a few things we love about car auctions. Unfortunately, the current situation has closed to doors (literally) on many of those beloved auctions. But Barrett-Jackson, in hopes of keeping the adrenaline pumping, has its first-ever online-only auction planned for next month. And there are a few unique vehicles worth looking out for.
