Peter Shelley, Managing Director, ATEC said in a statement that the Road to Recovery tourism tutorial series is providing a way of support to industry members and helping them to use the time to work on their business.
He mentioned that despite being an unprecedented challenge for the tourism industry and numerous people facing job losses or business failures, the tourism industry is full of passionate and committed people who will be there at the other end of the pandemic and will look forward to re-engaging and finding new opportunities.
He also informed that the Australian Tourism Export Council is offering the Road to Recovery tutorials free to the tourism industry in order to help individuals use the time as an investment for their future learning. He mentioned that it will also help them to build their own strengths and discover new paths for better tourism management.
Over the past month ATEC’s Build Back Better Leadership Webinars has successfully delivered industry webinars to an audience of more than 3,000-registrants. The webinars help members gain insights from panelists discussing a range of industry-relevant topics and challenges. Road to Recovery tutorials are 45 minutes long and are hosted every Thursday at 14.00 (AEST).
