Best Instagrams this week: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Kim Kardashian West

Remember when Joey Tribbiani in Friends said, “Inside, good. Outside, bad”? It's safe to say that no one could have predicted that his iconic words would basically become the motto of 2020. India has been in a state of lockdown for the past month to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, and this has resulted in most of us eventually turning to one medium for entertainment—Instagram. This period has also encouraged many to try new activities during their time off from the outside world, and celebrities are no exception.

This week started off with Easter celebrations for many, and Bollywood made sure to spread some cheer too. One of the sweetest pictures spotted on the occasion came via Kareena Kapoor Khan: a candid snapshot of her son, Taimur Ali Khan, dressed in a night suit with bunny makeup on his face, complete with adorable pink rabbit ears. As the week continued, Kajol found a reason to celebrate as well, gaining a grand total of 10 million followers on Instagram. Taking a moment to thank her fans, the Bollywood star posted a small dance clip that any die-hard Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham fan will instantly recognise. 

Going through old photo albums continues to be a trend during this period of lockdown. Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja all went through their archives this week and rediscovered old photos of themselves as kids. While Padukone shared a throwback of her younger self posing for the camera in a smart all-black ensemble, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja put up an image of herself in a sweet striped dress, flanked by brothers, Arjun Kapoor, Mohit Marwah and Akshay Marwah. 

Across the globe, Kim Kardashian West looked to the past as well, treating her fans to a mini album of pictures that showed herself twinning with daughter North West in cosy oversized outfits and identical braided hairstyles. For Justin Beiber and wife Hailey Beiber, however, this self-isolation period has brought the chance to spend more quality time together than possibly ever before. This loved-up collage of the couple cuddling has already earned itself thousands of likes and comments.
