AURANGABAD: Doctors at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Aurangabad surgically removed a plastic bottle from man's rectum.
The man, suspected to be an alcoholic, had accidentally inserted the bottle into his rectum.
A team of doctors led by HoD of the Surgery department Sarojini Jadhav, had conducted a surgery on the 50-year-old man on April 17 after attempts to remove the plastic bottle of 400ml capacity through rectal route failed, surgeon Mohammed Ansari said.
