LUDHIANA: While setting an example for the youngsters, the Akali Dal MLA from Dakha constituency Manpreet Ayali started wheat harvesting in his farms on Sunday. He made an appeal to youth brigade for paying attention towards agriculture instead of moving out of country. He also requested the government to strengthen agriculture sector which has potential to boost economy of entire country.
While driving tractor in his farms on Sunday Ayali went live on social media platform and asked the youngsters to once again become part of field work and do hard work in growing food for everybody. He said due to lockdown every person is only worried about getting food to survive especially the poor people and farmers have the ability to give food to all. Ayali said even in lockdown agricultural activities are allowed so if youngsters want to become part of growing food for human beings they should come forward.
He said youngsters are going to other countries for jobs and earning money but in their own country they remain away from working in fields. He said if they help their parents in this task then they need not to go out as they can earn everything here.
