Covid-19: Amit Shah reviews lockdown situation across India

Union minister Amit Shah reviews the lockdown situation across the country as the covid-19 cases crossed 14000 mark. Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a meeting with top officials to take stock of the current situation regarding COVID-19 pandemic. The ministry had set up a 24/7 control room to coordinate with all the states. So far India has reported 14378 COVID-19 cases along with 488 deaths. Of all the states, Maharashtra is on top with 3323 COVID-19 cases and 201 deaths. "The home minister reviewed the working of the MHA control room and reviewed the COVID-19 situation in various states in a meeting with officers. The control room is operational 24x7 and is coordinating with states as well as with various ministries of the central government," a home ministry spokesperson said.
