EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Indian stocks fluctuated between minor gains and losses on Thursday after a weak start.
Among headline indices, the S&P BSE Sensex was flat at 30,390 levels and the Nifty50 index was up 18 points at 8,940 levels. Wipro fell as much as 6 per cent after posting muted growth in its revenue and profit numbers for the fourth quarter of the last financial year. In the Sensex pack, Axis Bank, Titan, Tech Mahindra, and Hero MotoCorp were the top losers.
Among sectoral indices, the Nifty IT index, down over 2 per cent, was the top loser.
The broader market fared relatively better. The S&P BSE MidCap index and the SmallCap index were both up 1 per cent each.

RESULTS TODAY
Tata Consultancy Services is scheduled to release its March quarter numbers and analysts see some erosion in the company's revenue due to the nationwide lockdown while the Covid-19 outbreak is expected to impact most of the company's verticals. READ MORE
