Uttar Pradesh: Secretariat to resume work from Thursday

LUCKNOW: In a late night decision by the state government, the state secretariat is set to resume its functioning from Thursday.
Additional chief secretary, secretariat administration, Mahesh Chandra Gupta issued an order stating that officers from the rank of ACS, principal secretary, secretary to joint secretary will resume their work from Thursday morning.
If required they can also call their subordinate staff. With this order, the state secretariat is set to function almost normally from Thursday.
However, entry of private persons will remain prohibited.
The order further states that during the lockdown period no government officer will be allowed to leave Lucknow except on certain conditions.
