DTCP opens, but to provide essential services only

Gurgaon: The state department of town and country planning (DTCP) has asked all officials with duties related to providing essential services to report to work, two days after it issued an order directing that its offices have only one-third of staff members present on any given day.
Withdrawing the previous order after the nation-wide lockdown was extended, the principal secretary of town and country planning on Wednesday directed all to not leave their stations without written permission from their head of departments.
DTCP offices reopened on Monday as per the directions of state government. Officers were directed to have only one-third of staff members and officials had been directed to not hold any meeting which requires physical presence of the staff.
District town planner R S Batth said, “The fresh order states that those officials not involved in providing essential services should not come to office and avoiding public meetings except while addressing emergency issues.”
Batth further said officials attending office have been directed to take all precautionary measures.
