Sports-deprived punters desperate for a bet during the coronavirus crisis are placing money on what colour tie Prime Minister Scott Morrison will wear in public.
Online bookmaker Sportsbet opened up the novelty market earlier this month after sport in Australia, except for horse and greyhound racing, was suspended due to the pandemic outbreak.
Ahead of Mr Morrison's latest press conference on Thursday afternoon, a blue coloured tie in honour of his beloved Cronulla Sharks NRL team was the $2.75 short-priced favourite.

Scott Morrison sported a silver/grey tie when he addressed reporters in his latest press conference on Thursday, which paid $5
Blue has been worn 15 in his last 33 televised appearances since February 23.
He also wore blue at his victory speech when he won the federal election last May.
Purple was the next best bet at $4, which Mr Morrison has worn eight times.
Yellow/gold, which was priced at $6.50 is also a popular shade.
The Prime Minister later addressed reporters on Thursday afternoon sporting a silver/grey number, which paid $5.

Purple (pictured on two days earlier on March 20) has been worn eight times since February 23
'ScoMo's gone silver/grey again...and it paid $5.00 for those punters with an eye for fashion. What colour will he wear next?,' Sportsbet posted on Facebook afterwards.
And if the Prime Minister's tie on Thursday afternoon looked familiar, you're right.
He's worn the same tie number on a number occasions while addressing the nation in the last two months.
Sportsbet says it will put up the market for Mr Morrison's next tie colour later on Thursday night.
