City hospitals contribute generously to fight Covid

Coimbatore: Some of the city’s multi-specialty hospitals authorised to treat Covid-19 patients have contributed generously to the chief minister’s covid relief fund to help combat the disease. While GKNM Hospital handed over a Rs 1 crore cheque to local administration minister S P Velumani on Wednesday, the PSG and Sons Charities handed over the same amount to Coimbatore collector K Rajamani. Kovai Medical Center and Hospital also made a contribution worth 1 core for the cause.TNN
