Ludhiana: In a good news for residents, deputy commissioner Pradeep Kumar Agrawal on Wednesday informed that no new positive case of coronavirus (Covid-19) has been reported in the district in the past three days.
He informed that for the benefit of residents, the district administration would be starting a medical bulletin shortly, in which residents would have direct interaction with a team of experts, comprising civil surgeon, an Ayush doctor, and two private doctors. And this team would answer all queries of residents related to Covid-19.
He said with regard to Ludhiana, a meeting to analyse whether relaxations are to be given or not, would be held by the Ludhiana district administration on April 20, and the decision regarding it would be taken in that meeting.
He informed that on the first day of the procurement season, 15 passes were issued to farmers in Khanna mandi on Wednesday, who brought their produce in a hassle-free manner. He informed that the passes for bringing produce to mandis by farmers would be issued by arhtiyas themselves, and the district administration has already provided such passes to arhtiyas. He urged farmers to bring their produce in the mandis only as per their turn.
