What we know about the Anglesey barn fire

A large fire lasting more than three hours swept through a farm building. The blaze broke out in a barn on Glanhwfa Road, Llangefni, Anglesey, at around 1.30pm, yesterday. Read more.

Disabled North Wales woman threatened with 'petrol bomb' wins fight for new home

A disabled woman who claimed she’d been threatened with a petrol bomb attack at a potential flat over her wheelchair, says she will be offered another property after a battle. Liane Best, lives in temporary accommodation in Bryn Offa, Wrexham, but was told she had to move, because her arrangement with Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) was finishing.

North Wales farmer dies after contracting coronavirus in hospital

A North Wales farmer has died in hospital after contracting coronavirus. Glyn Herbert Jones, 80, of Bryn Mawr, Northop, died on Monday morning having tested positive for Covid-19. He was admitted to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd after suffering a minor stroke before being transferred to Holywell Community Hospital.
