NEW DELHI: With
Covid-19 cases surging, pharmaceutical and biotech companies are working round the clock to address the outbreak by supporting the governments in developing vaccines.
The Department of Biotechnology, School of Engineering & Applied Sciences at the
Bennett University, will on Thursday (April 16) host a webinar from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm with a theme —“Combating Covid-19: Biotech to the Rescue”.
The webinar would bring together national and international experts to outline potential scenarios and decisions, helping pharma and biotech better plan their response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The speakers include
Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, CMD, Biocon Ltd, Hansmukh Rawal, MD, Mylab Discovery Solutions, one of the major suppliers of testing kits for molecular testing, Pankaj Patel of
Cadila Healthcare, Krishna Ella of
Bharat Biotech, and Adar Poonawalla, CEO, Serum Institute.
The international speakers include Dale Fisher, Singapore-based chairman of the WHO’s Robert Stroud, Professor, Departments of Biochemistry/Biophysics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of California.
