GUWAHATI:
NSCN-IM has alleged that the
Nagaland government is not geared up to face the crisis emanating from COVID-19 pandemic.
Nagaland has reported one COVID-19 positive case.
In a statement NSCN-IM said: “It is shocking to learn that the Nagaland state has been found on wrong footing after the much hyped preparation to tackle the highly contagious Covid-19 tumbled. Nagaland is not fully geared up as claimed by the state government. It is clear beyond doubt that case has not been handled in the manner as per the protocol demanded by the seriousness of the situation.”
“What is more shocking is the snail pace progress of the construction of the Covid-19 Hospital in Dimapur. Shortage of funds should not be the reason as the Government of India has generously provided hundreds of crores,” the outfit added.
