The PGA Tour has reportedly debating a restart of the tour with the Charles Schwab Challenge, which is scheduled in May.

This is according to a memo that was obtained and circulated by Golf Channel this week.

The memo states that officials from the PGA Tour plan to meet with the players advisory council to discuss the impact of a potential restart.

"We are evaluating other options that allow us to preserve the maximum number of events we can while giving us more time as the crisis evolves," reads the memo in part.

"We understand many of you may be impacted by travel restrictions and/or the inability to practice in your area, thus we want to be able to give you as much time as possible to allow you to come back fully prepared."

The last PGA Tour event completed was the Arnold Palmer Invitational on 8 March. Since then, nine events that were set to follow were either postponed or cancelled altogether.

The PGA Tour is reportedly eyeing the Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas as a potential return, The event is scheduled to tee off on 21-24 May.
