Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again extended the lockdown period for 19 days while addressing the nation once again about the coronavirus.

Under this, the country has now been locked down till 3 May. The 21-day nationwide lockdown period announced on March 24 was to end today. Before this, the PM has made a big announcement. During his address to the nation, PM Modi said that after April 20, conditional limited relaxation can be given in some limited sectors.

However, he also said that if there is no decrease in cases of coronavirus infection, then this waiver will also be withdrawn. During this time, the Prime Minister said that during the fight against the coronavirus in the next one week, the harshness will be increased all over the country.

Every town, police station, district and every state will be monitored till 20 April. It will be seen how much lockdown is being followed by the people there. Now on Wednesday, a new guideline will be released by the central government to extend the lockdown period.
