Lockdown in India: Activities permitted April 20 onwards

NEW DELHI: The ministry of home affairs on Wednesday issued fresh containment guidelines for enforcing the second phase of the coronavirus lockdown which will continue till May 3. However, in order to mitigate hardship to the public, certain activities will be permitted April 20 onwards. But the exemptions given from April 20 will not be applicable in Covid-19 hotspots and industries operating in rural areas will be able to operate only after April 30.
Activities permitted April 20 onwards are as follows:

Agricultural, horticultural, farming, procurement of agri products, 'mandis'
Fishery, aquaculture and plantation activities
All health services (including AYUSH)
Shops of farm machinery, its spare parts, supply chain, repairs, 'Custom Hiring Centres' related to machinery
Manufacturing units of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, construction of medical infrastructure
Reserve Bank of India & RBI-regulated financial markets and entities
Highway 'dhabas', truck repairing shops, call centres for govt activities
Operation of homes for children/ disabled/ mentally challenged/ senior
MNREGA works will be allowed with strict implementation of social distancing
Public utilities like operations of oil and gas sector, postal services, power generation etc.
Manufacturing, industrial units with access control in SEZs, Export Oriented Units, industrial estates, townships
