Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has asked the officials to focus on 'ruthless control' of curbing the COVID-19 spread while addressing the district collectors and senior officials through video conference from their official residence.

On Sunday, Gehlot asked to follow the 'Bhilwara model', instructing him to survey every house by forming more teams, so that people with symptoms of Kovid-19 can be identified in time and prevent infection from spreading.

Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Rohit Kumar Singh said that more than 25,000 tests have been conducted in the state till Saturday evening and Rajasthan ranks second after Maharashtra about the corona test.

"With the increase in the number of tests, the number of positive patients can also increase and in such a situation we have to be prepared in advance," he said.

"Information should be given in case of shortage of test kits, medicines, and equipment. Tertiary care centers should be reserved in critical condition."
