Coronavirus: Most Covid-19 patients in Chennai fall under this age group

CHENNAI: Data released by the Chennai Corporation shows that the most number of people who tested positive for Covid-19 in the city are in the age group of 30-39 years.
As many as 44 people out of the total 205 patients (21 %) fall under this age group, according to the corporation data.
This is followed by those aged between 40 and 49 years and 50 and 59 years, which account for 39 positive cases each.
There has been only one case each under 10 years and above 80 years.
The data also shows that 68% of the total people who tested positive are male while the remaining female.
Royapuram zone (Zone 5) has accounted for the maximum number of cases, at 63.
Five Covid-19 patients have died in the city so far.
