Bhilwara (Bhilwara) city of Rajasthan has been in the limelight across the country since last one month. In the month of March, the whole country suddenly got an eye on this district when the cases of corona here increased rapidly. Suddenly this district became the district with the most corona patients in Rajasthan. But the speed with which administrative officials took rescue measures, now this district is in the headlines once again. The way Bhilwara stopped new cases of Corona, it is now being known as Bhilwara model. But you know what is the role of Tina Dabi, a 26-year-old IAS officer in this whole process? Let's know.

What measures taken

IS topper Tina Dabi told the Hindustan Times newspaper in an interview that because of the fast-growing cases of Corona, we had taken the first step of isolation. People were also taken into confidence to isolate the district completely. Tina Dabi has been posted as Sub Division Collector in Bhilwara since 2018.

A Private hospital could have become the Epicentre

He has told that on March 19, the first Corona positive case came to Bhilwara and on March 20, we had discovered the link which could become its epicentre. We found that an entire private hospital is in its grip.

Tina Dabi was talking about Brijesh Bangar Memorial Hospital in Bhilwara. The doctors and nurses of this hospital were among the early corona positive people. After this, the administration immediately decided to complete shutdown and sealed Bhilwara. Tina Dabi says that within two hours the DM of the city Rajendra Bhatt had decided to complete the shutdown. Significantly, many stories have been published in the media about Rajendra Bhatt. His quick action has been praised everywhere.

Won the trust of the citizens

Dabi says that soon after the decision of the shutdown, I roamed across the city to stop work, convince people and started scolding when needed. He explained to the people that there is no need to be panic. Within a day or two, the administration succeeded in convincing the people across the district.

Was not an easy way

Tina says that it is not as easy to tell as it was in reality. For the first three to four days, we were getting phone calls from nervous people from all over the city. We had to take care of a lot of things. But this was the time of public health emergency and we had to end the difficulties. There was only one mission going on in our mind that somehow we have to stop the growing cases. We were sitting on a time bomb which could have exploded at any time. In reality, the risk of the infection becoming community spread was very high.

The administration started sending essential things to people's homes so that the danger could be perceived among the common people. Tina says that common people will not cooperate with you if the important things will not reach them. But it was like a nightmare for our DM and the whole team. We worked hard for this for a week.

Headlines spread across the country by topping IAS

26-year-old Tina got the first position in UPSC examination two years ago. Tina is the first Dalit woman to do so. Tina Dabi graduated in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi. Recently after the completion of Tina Dabi's training, now her first posting was given in Ajmer district. Rajasthan cadre IAS officer Tina is currently posted in Kishangarh on the post of SDM.
