Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to his family on the death of any government employee due to coronavirus during coronavirus campaign in the state. The central government had earlier announced a medical insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh to Corona warriors, including medical staff, however, now, the state government has extended it to other employees who are part of the coronavirus operation.
The state government said that employees working on a contract basis will also be given benefits under this financial assistance scheme. Contract workers, health workers and home guards, including families, village servants, constables, sweepers, civil security, ASHA and Anganwadi workers Like, people working on honorarium have also been included in the beneficiaries.
