Cop’s car hits Shimlapuri woman

Rajwinder Kaur of Shimlapuri area reportedly suffered injuries on Tuesday morning after a car being driven by a police personnel hit her scooter on Elevated Road near clock tower. She was on her way to attend the bhog ceremony of her brother. Youth Akali Dal district President Gurdeep Singh Gosha, who was present near spot, rushed the woman to a hospital.
Curfew violators beat up man
Ajit Kumar of Jodhewal area has accused three persons of thrashing him after he had filed a police compliant against them for violating lockdown orders. He said he had complained to the police control room (PCR) that the accused were sitting outside their houses despite lockdown. Following this, a PCR van had come to his locality. Angry over this, accused Naseeb Chand, Ajay Kumar and Prince thrashed him. A case has been registered by Daresi police against all three.
