How does a locality become a hotspot?

Any area/locality that has reported more than six cases of the coronavirus is designated a hotspot.

The government takes various measures in a hotspot - more testing for the virus, constant disinfection and ensuring supplies to the area.

Hotspots are totally sealed - which means people can not step out of their houses, not even for groceries and essentials - provisions are usually home delivered in the locality.

Identifying and sealing a hotspot means more control over the virus spreading - if infected people don’t meet anyone, there’s no chance of spread.
