Strollers sold at Kmart and Target stores across Australia have been urgently recalled over fears the wheels could snap and seriously injure infants.
The ACCC warned a number of CNP Brand strollers may have been installed with a faulty rear axle that could snap at the wheels' position and cause the stroller to fall.
The fault may occur if the stroller is overloaded, operated under force or used over rough surfaces.
The recall applies Childcare Soho Stroller Black and Childcare Zeke Stroller Navy, which were sold at Target, and the Childcare Stroller Grey - available at Kmart.

Parents have been warned to stop using the stroller immediately and contact CNP Brands to arrange a replacement of rear axle and wheels, or to arrange to have the product repaired.
CNP Brands said it identified a quality fault in a small number of Childcare stroller models after 'receiving feedback from a very small number of customers'.
'We recognise and take very seriously that the batches of strollers identified are not meeting our customers, nor our own very high standards for our products,' the company said in a statement to Daily Mail Australia.
CNP Brands said not all strollers have been impacted, and there have been no reports of injury as a result of the product fault.

The strollers were sold at Target and Kmart between September 30 last year and February 21, 2020
