Lav Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Health Ministry on Tuesday said cases of Covid-19 has reached more than 10, 300 and 339 people have lost their lives. He said, "Till now 1036 people have been cured. On Monday, 179 people were diagnosed and found cured." He further added, "Our major effort is to see how to break the chain of transmission. If no new case is reported in an area for 28 days, the last case comes negative, then we believe that chain of transmission has broken there and no new cases are coming."
