Prayagraj: In a first, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) members and volunteers have started holding "Kutumb Shakha" with their family members on the terraces and gardens of their homes while following social distancing norms.
RSS launched "Kutumb (family) Shakha" in the last weekend and guided its volunteers to hold them at their homes. In the last few days, over 1,200 families in Prayagraj have made it part of their daily routine.
As per schedule, the shakha's first session includes physical activities like yoga and exercise, while the second is devoted to ' baudhik' (lecture) and mental exercises with strict compliance of social distancing.
Besides playing an active role in relief operations during lockdown, RSS is also spreading messages like "Maximise social distancing and Mitigate Covid-19" among masses through social media in the fight against novel coronavirus.
