Coronavirus Live Updates: With 1,211 Infections In 24 Hrs, Cases In India Cross 10,000-mark; Death Toll At 339

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India crossed the 10,000-mark today with 10,363 infections across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 10 am today, the last day of the 21-day nationwide lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus, amid indications that the lockdown will be extended for 14 more days with some relaxations to boost the ailing economy. 

Meanwhile, the United States recorded 1,509 deaths related to the coronavirus pandemic over the past 24 hours, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.
