The World Health Organisation has lauded "timely action " by India on Covid-19. The WHO has appreciated India's effort and all initiatives to arrest the spread of the deadly virus. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the extension of nationwide lockdown till May 3. On the other hand the opposition parties have targeted the Prime minister and asked him for an action plan for the poor people of the country. They also questioned the Centre over the economy. More than 300 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus in the country.
