On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Ambedkar, he said that I salute Baba Saheb on behalf of everyone. He said that India tried harder than in other countries. As a result, the situation in India is much better than the rest of the countries.
The 21-day lockdown period to prevent the spread of the coronavirus is going to end on Tuesday and the Prime Minister can talk about its possible extension.
Earlier last month, the Prime Minister addressed the nation on 19 March and 24 March. He called for resolution and restraint to deal with the Coronavirus on 19 March and also announced a one-day 'Janata curfew' on Sunday 22 March.
The Prime Minister announced a 21-day nationwide lockdown on 24 March to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
At the same time, on April 3, Modi issued a video message asking people to turn off all the lights of the house for nine minutes on April 5 at 9 pm, displaying solidarity of the country by defeating the coronavirus by lighting a lamp, candle or mobile flashlight.
