Holiday homes, including holiday parks, camping sites, second homes and all other holiday accommodation must follow strict rules - even to stay open for key workers.
If they don't abide by them, they could face still penalties.
All holiday businesses and properties were ordered by the UK Government to close down for the foreseeable future on March 24, 2020 due to the coronavirus.
They must remain closed unless specifically exempt or given approval from the local authority - even if they are homing key workers.
Anyone found breaching these rules could face a fixed penalty notice, prohibition notice, or prosecution.
You can report any holiday homes or holiday parks failing to comply with these rules to Anglesey Council at ehealth@anglesey.gov.uk.
Anglesey Council said: “Under no circumstances should any accommodation provider be providing holiday accommodation for visitors during this lockdown period.
“Any person found not to be complying will be committing an offence and may be subject to a fixed penalty notice / Prohibition notice or prosecution, for which the fine is unlimited.”
Anglesey Council’s Public Health Protection team are urging property owners to act responsibly and play their part to protect the community and NHS.
Any property who wishes to provide accommodation to key workers or those in need during the pandemic they must seek approval from the council so that safety assessments can be conducted.
The council added businesses can advertise for future bookings, once lockdown has been lifted, but must remain closed until advised by the government that they can re-open.
As yet it is unclear when the government-enforced lockdown will end.
Anglesey’s Chief Public Protection officer, Les Pursglove, said, “We appreciate that Easter holidays are the start of the holiday season for the tourism sector, but in this unprecedented pandemic we urge holiday accommodation providers to do their part to help stop the spread of the virus, protect our communities and local health services and ultimately save lives.
