BMW Joins The Fight Against Corona Boredom, Launches DIY Board Games, Puzzles, Coloring Pictures

BMW is encouraging people to stay inside during these challenging times, and to help pass the time, they have launched several DIY games.

From simple board games that you can play with the spouse and kids, to coloring pictures, all you need is a printer, A4 paper, scissors, pencils and a dice.

The Big BMW Race

One of the most entertaining board games released by the German company, ‘The Big BMW Race’ has a simple objective: be the first one to cross the finish line after three laps. Each participant rolls the dice and moves forward to the corresponding number of spaces. Boost Mode is activated if a player rolls a six and are allowed to roll the dice again. You can find the rules here.

Find The Pair

The objective of this game is very simple. The players have to collect as many pairs as possible. You will have to access this link to print the cards, and after cutting and shuffling them, you can start playing it. The rules are available on the same page.

Park Your BMW

Finding out where the opponent has parked their BMW by using the coordinate system, subsequent to printing and cutting, will keep you busy for hours. You can play with the i3, 3-Series, 8-Series Gran Coupe and X6, with each vehicle having a corresponding number of squares: from 2 to 5. The links and rules for this game are available here and here.

Puzzle Duo

Papercrafts And Coloring Pictures

Want to build 3D miniature templates of the i3 or X7? You can find them here and here, although you will want to pay extra care to the cutting part, unless your paper and ink cartridge supplies are unlimited.

Finally, you can access this link to check out the entire ‘StaySafe’ collection.

On a related note, BMW has launched a competition across its social media channels, asking followers to build the best model they can using things they can find in their homes. Whether it’s a paper drawing, a 3D model made out of boxes or a car-shaped pile of laundry, they’re encouraging people to share their creations online, using the ‘homemadeBMW’ hashtag, and will be awarding five winners with different prizes.
