Matildas midfielder Amy Harrison seals move to Dutch giants, PSV Eindhoven
Another Matilda has left the W-League with Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder Amy Harrison joining the growing exodus of Australian players to Europe after signing for Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.
The 23-year-old signed a one-year deal with the women's Eredivisie leaders, due to start at the beginning of the 2020-21 season.

"The recognition of the appeal of our Matildas globally that we now have another one signed to a big european club," her agent Buddy Farah said.
"It also is credit to Amy's hard work and perseverance and I’m pleased to have been involved as her agent in making the deal happen."
Like almost all football around the world, the Dutch women's league has been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that won't impact Harrison's impending move. Having already signed her contract, she will travel to The Netherlands as soon as permitted, ready to start the next season. PSV are seven points clear at the top of the women's Eredivisie which is suspended until June 1.
The rapid growth in European women's football has enticed the core of the Matildas squad away from the W-League. European clubs have invested heavily in their women's programs in the past two years and have been quick to snap up Australian players. Following Sam Kerr's move to Chelsea and Caitlin Foord joining Arsenal, Harrison becomes the 10th member of the Australian national team to sign for a major European club permanently.
