In his latest post on social media, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja showed that he’s been using his spare time to hone his sword-wielding skills, one that he showcases every time he reaches a milestone with the bat. However, former England captain Michael Vaughan used the moment to mock the Indian all-rounder.
On Sunday, Jadeja posted a video of himself brandishing his sword in his lawn at home in Gujarat’s Jamnagar. “A Sword may loose (sic) it’s shine, but would never disobey it’s master,” he wrote.

Soon after Jadeja posted the video, Vaughan wrote that Jadeja’s lawn needs mowing. “Your grass needs a mow Rockstar,” he commented. In response, Jadeja wrote, “Yes but I don’t know how to cut it #coronaeffect.”
On April 8, Australian opener David Warner had also posted a video on Instagram where he tried his hand at wielding his bat like a sword during a commercial shoot for SunRisers Hyderabad. Warner had asked his fans for their opinion on his performance when compared to Jadeja.
“Throwback to this time last year to a commercial we were doing for @sunrisershyd Do you think I have got @royalnavghan covered for the sword,” Warner wrote in the post.
