Hubballi reports four new coronavirus positive cases, tally reaches five

HUBBALLI: Four new coronavirus positive cases were reported in Hubballi on Monday. The total number of infected cases touched five in the district.
The district administration told that all the four fresh cases were the contact of P-194 patient, who tested positive to coronavirus on April 9. The officials said that the four fresh cases include three children, P-233, a five-year-old boy, P-234, a 3.6-year-old boy, P-236 a seven-year-old girl, all are nephew and niece of P-194 and an adult 37-year-old male is the brother of the patient.
This is the first time that the city witnessed four cases in a day, all the infected were the residents of Mulla Oni in Hubballi and the entire Mulla Oni and surrounding three-kilometre area already announced as containment area and vehicle movements have been restricted.
The residents of the containment area were asked to remain indoors, essential services are being provided at the doorsteps. District administration yet to provide more details on these fresh cases.
