The telecom giant Vodafone, Airtel and Jio have some really affordable prepaid plans that offer as much data as 1.5GB data per day without creating a hole in your pocket.

Reliance Jio
Reliance Jio rules the roost when it comes to having affordable prepaid plans. For Jio users, the plans offering 42GB data starts from as low as Rs 199. The plan offers unlimited Jio-to-Jio calling and 100 SMSes per day and has a validity of 28 days. It also comes along with a free subscription to Jio apps. Jio has another affordable plan under Rs 300 and that offers more than 42GB data per month.

The prepaid plan costing Rs 249 offers 56GB data per month. The plan is coupled with Jio to Jio Unlimited calling, Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 1,000 minutes and offers 100smses per day.

Vodafone

Vodafone initially had only one prepaid plan that offered 42GB data per month under Rs 300 but now Vodafone has made its customers very happy by providing double data benefits without charging an extra penny
The plan costing Rs 249 earlier came with 1.5GB data per day but now because of Vodafone's double data benefits plan, the Rs 249 plan offers 3GB data per day, which means 84GB data per month.

Airtel

Airtel too doesn't have too many options to choose from under Rs 300. The plan just like Vodafone costs Rs 249, offers unlimited calling benefits along with 100SMSes per day and offers 42GB data per month.
Airtel has another efficient plan that offers similar benefits like the Rs 249 plan but the price is a bit more at Rs 279 but there's a catch.
The plan also provides a life insurance cover of Rs 4 Lakhs from HDFC Life Insurance. Airtel also has a Rs 179 that offers 2 Lakh insurance cover. Airtel is the only telecom operator that offers life insurance covers.
