Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari district’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Navdeep Singh Grewal held surprise checks at COVID-19 hotspots and check-posts in Eluru town. He gave instructions to the police staff on duty to restrict people to come out from home amid COVID-19. The SP has given counselling to those who are roaming on the roads. Cases have also been filed against some miscreants.
