Rajkot: Woman kills self of harassment; husband, in-laws booked

RAJKOT: Husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law of a woman who died on April 4 after consuming pesticides on April 1 in Devda village of Gondal taluka in Rajkot district were booked on Tuesday night.
Police said the victim, identified as Parul Paghdar (24), was driven to take the drastic step out of the alleged harassment caused by her husband Nitish Paghdar, father-in-law Ramnik Paghdar and mother-in-law Bhanu Paghdar.
‘The accused were booked on the complaint of Parul’s brother Mahesh Satashiya,” said Ajaysinh Jadeja, sub-inspector with Gondal taluka police station.
